Jajah offers voice calls on iPod Touch

Jajah has announced an app that would allow iPod touch users to make and receive phone calls over VoIP. Users would only need access to a Wi-Fi connection to use the application. This could transform into something useful for users of the touch, as long as they stay close to a Wi-Fi hotspot. But things aren’t that easy, the application isn’t available yet, and Apple’s acceptance of the app may never come. Jajah is currently looking to partner with carriers, and offer the app with monthly subscription. That, again, will not be an easy task.
This could be very interesting indeed.
